Over 200 of our union siblings at Monogram Aerospace Fasteners in Commerce, California, have been on an unfair labor practice (ULP) strike since August 4th, 2024.

These workers and members of UAW Local 509 are fighting for fair and living wages (NOT minimum wage), Cost-of-Living Increases (COLA), and affordable health insurance.

Monogram's website boasts that "Monogram Aerospace Fasteners prides itself on designing, developing, and delivering innovative, high-quality aerospace fasteners and products to its customers." However, it's imperative to remember that Monogram Aerospace Fasteners cannot deliver on that promise without the hard work and dedication of these 200+ workers in Commerce, CA.

Los Angeles County is amid a poverty crisis, with about 1.4 million living and working in poverty. Companies like yours can either choose to fairly compensate workers with dignified wages and benefits or continue to devalue your workforce and further perpetuate this poverty crisis with poverty wages.

As President of TriMas Aerospace, the parent company of Monogram Aerospace Fasteners, we ask that you work with management and UAW 509 to do right by the workers and settle this contract as soon as possible.

The full strength and solidarity of the Los Angeles County Labor movement is with the Monogram Aerospace Fastener workers.

Thank you.
