Commissioner Lawrence Weekly, Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani, Mayor Carolyn Goodman, Mayor Andy Hafen, Councilwoman Gerri Schroder, Councilman Ricki Barlow, & Councilwoman Anita Wood

The Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA) Board of Commissioners is made up of 13 commissioners. These commissioners are appointed by elected officials across Clark County, and it’s time our elected officials held these board members accountable for their actions.
The SNRHA Board of Commissioners has plans to outsource jobs and layoff nearly 45 workers in our community. Additionally, there have been allegations amongst the commissioners ranging from conflict of interest to sexual harassment.
Sign this petition to tell elected officials to hold the SNRHA Board of Commissioners responsible for their poor decisions.

[Your Name]
As an elected official who appointed a commissioner to the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA) Board, I believe it is your responsibility to hold this board accountable for their actions. Your name is connected to these commissioners and their decisions.
Recently, the SNRHA released a document called the “Path to Agency Sustainability.” This document outlines plans to outsource jobs and reduce the workforce by 18%, which is approximately 45 workers. These working people live and work in our community, and cutting their jobs will have disastrous effects on their families and the small businesses that rely on their purchases. Good jobs with fair pay are essential to the recovery of Nevada’s economy, and numerous studies and examples have shown that outsourcing government jobs can actually raise costs for taxpayers.
Not only is the board making poor decisions that will affect working people and families in our community, but at the last SNRHA board meeting, the commissioners made very concerning accusations towards each other ranging from conflict of interest to sexual harassment of workers by commissioners. I believe these accusations should be taken seriously and that an investigation should happen immediately.
Again, I call on you to hold the SNRHA Board of Commissioners accountable for their actions.
