Labor Leaders Stand With Flight Attendants Demanding a Fair Contract NOW!
Airline Company Executives

Flight Attendants across the industry are fighting to raise the
standards for our career. More than two-thirds of the U.S. Flight
Attendants are in contract negotiations right now, including red-hot
contract fights at Alaska, Air Wisconsin, United, Omni, American,
Southwest, Frontier and more.
This moment is not about what
uniform we wear: It's about what unites us, and that unity transcends
airlines. Our time on the job must be compensated. We need retirement
security. We need flexibility and control of our lives. Like every other worker around the world, we need to go to work to
live, not just live to work. We are ready to do whatever it takes to
achieve the landmark contracts that reflect the profits our work
creates. Together, 100,000 Flight Attendants are pushing our careers
forward this year — battling corporate greed.

As labor leaders and allies of the movement, we stand with Flight Attendants across the globe on their February 13, 2024, Worldwide Day of Action. Union Members of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), and the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA), who represent 100,000 Flight Attendants in 33 cities, will lock arms in protest of the common theme of airline carrier corporate greed and general disrespect for their profession. U.S. Flight Attendants are currently in negotiations with Southwest Airlines, Allegiant Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, JetBlue, Frontier Airlines, Omni Air International, and others.
Flight Attendants are working harder than ever with long days, short nights, more time away from family, and in some of the most difficult working conditions. Flight Attendants have flown through the pandemic, faced layoffs, and been subjected to workplace violence by passengers. Some Flight Attendants haven’t had a raise in over five years; meanwhile, airline companies continue to profit on the backs of their workers.
Flight Attendants deserve respect, dignity, and a fair Contract NOW!
I stand in proud solidarity with our Flight Attendant siblings and urge you to return to the bargaining table and present a fair contract that is right for these workers.
