Goddard College Staff are on strike for a fair contract! Let's show these courageous workers some love and solidarity! Join us for a rally on the State House lawn this Saturday, April 1st, starting at 11:00 am.

They are grateful to all who have shown up on the picket line, shared their petition, sent messages of solidarity, and supported them in so many other ways.

Enormous progress was made in the lead up to and beginning of the strike to ensure their right to negotiate over working conditions cannot be not waived as well as agreement for a wage study to inform wage increases in future years.

However management has not agreed to provide the 3% retro pay that was budgeted for the past year, nor to specific wage increases for staff making under $20. President Dan Hocoy has not met with staff at all for negotiations, instead spending all of his time attacking staff in the media and spouting disingenuous soundbites. To add insult to injury, the President has made the disgusting and cruel decision to cut off striking members' healthcare on March 31st.

It is time to show President Hocoy that we care about Goddard College, which means caring about the staff who make it run. Please join us on the State House lawn (115 State St, Montpelier, VT 05633) starting at 11 am to support Goddard staff on strike! There will be food, speakers, and other activities. This is a family-friendly event!
