Support Fair Treatment for Workers at Sutter Health Park!
Sacramento Kings

With the Oakland A’s moving to West Sacramento, thousands of union workers in Oakland have lost their jobs. Now, the A’s are playing at Sutter Health Park, a ballpark that has no union protections for workers. That’s not right.
Every Major League ballpark in California is unionized, which means workers get fair pay, health benefits, and a voice in their workplace. Golden 1 Center in Sacramento is a great example of a sports venue on how union jobs can support both families and the local economy.
The A’s already agreed to work with unions in Las Vegas, where they’re building a new stadium. Why should West Sacramento be left behind?
We’re calling on the Sacramento Kings, who own Sutter Health Park, to let workers decide for themselves if they want to join a union, without interference or intimidation from their managers. The fair way to do this is through a Card Check Neutrality agreement, a simple, proven process that protects workers' choice and avoids employer pressure.
While fans cheer for the A’s and River Cats at Sutter Health Park, it’s workers who will be running the show behind the scenes. They prepare and maintain the field, show us where to park, operate the scoreboard, make and serve our food, help us find our seats, and clean up before, during, and after the game.
They deserve the same respect and protections as workers in every other major league stadium.
Join us in calling on the Kings to do the right thing. Let workers at Sutter Health Park decide their future, free and fair.

Sutter Health Park cannot remain the one non-union Major League Baseball stadium in America. We the fans and the community stand with Sutter Health Park workers in calling for Kings management to agree to a card check agreement—so workers can make their own decision about a union free from employer intimidation.
