In light of the public health crisis brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, we call on General Dynamics to do the right thing by immediately ceasing operations at Bath Iron Works and sending workers home with full pay.
Lives are very literally at stake. In order to slow the spread and prevent more deaths, we must limit contact. Your workforce touches every county of the state and will increase the speed and spread. The CDC and every public health agency recommends social distancing and limiting social contact as essential to slow the spread of this virus and to “bend the curve.”
