Harris County Recovery Assistance Application Support
Need help recovering from pandemic-related expenses?
Apply for Harris County Recovery Assistance!
Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo and Commissioners Adrian Garcia and Rodney Ellis recently voted to provide $30 million in funding through President Biden's American Rescue Plan to help people recover from financial distress brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Households that are selected and approved will receive a one-time payment of $1,500 for emergency expenses.
Funds may be used for any emergency expenses such as healthcare, rent or mortgage, utilities, food, internet, transportation, childcare, and other past due expenses.
At the Application Support event, navigators will help you apply for the Recovery Assistance program, as well as other Harris County programs, like the Emergency Rental Assistance Program, which can help you pay back rent and up to two months of future rent.
The window for applications will only be open from July 28th - August 11th, so come join us on the 3rd!
