Thousands of our fellow unions members are currently unregistered. This fall, we're going to do everything we can to change that and make sure all working people have the opportunity to make their voices heard at the ballot box!

On August 31st, we'll be offering two trainings to help launch our efforts to register 2,000 union members to vote in the next six weeks:

• 5:00pm Volunter Deputy Voter Registrar training led by the Harris County Elections Administrator. After completing the course, participants who meet the legal requirements will then be able to register eligible voters in Harris County.
• 6:00pm Voter registration training. This is for experienced volunteer deputy voter registrars as well as first timers. We'll talk about best practices, our fall voter registration campaign, and how we can support you, and how you can get involved in our program this fall.

We'll also have expert organizers on hand from Battleground Texas and the AFL-CIO to walk volunteers through best practices in voter registration.

We encourage all union members and friends of labor in Harris County to join.
