Workers deserve respect, dignity, and a union!

It is easy to ignore constituents when they are not right in the State House with legislators. Come to the State House Food Court (Cafeteria) on Thursday, March 14th from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm and remind your Representative that all working people deserve a voice on the job! Here is a map of the State House. The Food Court or Cafeteria is letter "N" on the second floor. There is elevator access, indicated by "EL."

We will arrive just before lunchtime, grab a table or two, and speak with Representatives on their lunch break. If you catch your Representative, please ask them if they will support the VT Protect the Right to Organize “PRO” Act (S.102). If you do not know your Representative(s), you may find them here.

You may learn more about the VT PRO Act (S.102) here.

You may have union leave in your contract to take time off for union duties. You may be able to use union leave if your Local has endorsed the VT PRO Act (S.102). Ask your union rep, chair, or steward for more information. If not, we appreciate you taking time away from your job to help pass this historic bill!

There is an elevator to take you to the second floor where the State House Food Court (Cafeteria) is located. See the following State House map: https://legislature.vermont.gov/the-state-house/visiting-the-state-house/state-house-floor-maps/ Visual aids, such as information sheets, will be provided.
