As hundreds of thousands of workers continue to be detained and deported without due process around the country, the president and his allies are doubling down on policies that deepen economic hardship and fail to address the real needs of working people.

Currently, Congress is deciding whether to provide more than $70 billion in new funding for the mass deportation agenda over the next three years. This on top of the $170 billion of taxpayer dollars that Congress already gave immigration enforcement agencies last year, when they cut billions in funding for health care, food assistance and education.

Lawless Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations are fueling chaos in our communities and trampling on working people’s fundamental rights and freedoms. Despite the horrifying acts of this administration’s militarized immigration enforcement in Minnesota and in communities across the country, Congress has failed to secure any meaningful reforms or guardrails over ICE. Working people demand action from their elected officials.

It’s time for Congress to do their job and refuse to use taxpayer dollars to fund agencies that are accountable to no one. Workers want affordability and stability, not fear and chaos.

Call your member of Congress today and demand that they hold ICE accountable, stop the chaos and protect working families by voting NO on the budget reconciliation bill.

Protect workers. Stop the chaos.
No blank checks for ICE.
