Lame Duck Session

Congress is facing a budget showdown after the election. Our representatives will have to choose between tax cuts for the richest 2%, or jobs and economic security for the rest of us.

The choice should be clear. President Bush’s tax giveaways for the richest 2% didn’t create any jobs and were an outrageous waste of money. They will cost us $1 trillion over the next 10 years. Yet cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid remain on the table.

Please send a message to Congress to tell Frank Guinta and Charlie Bass that you oppose any attempts to sacrifice Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid in the lame duck session.
