Across the country, corporate special interests are trying to make it harder for people to exercise their right to vote. On Thursday, a Minnesota House committee is hearing a constitutional amendment that would require Minnesotans to present a photo ID with a current address before being allowed to vote, making voting harder for seniors, people of color, college students, low-income Minnesotans, and veterans.
